The Mayfield Ranch, situated near the beautiful foothills of Sierra Tinaja Pinta, encompasses just over 35,000 acres of deeded land and 35,000 acres of TXP lease land, making this ranch a little over 70,000 acres of pure seclusion and paradise.

Lee, Lee & Puckitt is honored to put the Mayfield Ranch out on the open market. This long-term, family-held property is steeped in history with the Butterfield stagecoach running nearby from St. Louis, Missouri, to San Francisco, California, just before the start of the Civil War.

The Mayfield Ranch is well improved with nine pastures, two traps, two water wells with submersible pumps, numerous water reservoirs and troughs and three sets of steel working pens. The wells are connected to the house and troughs with 99 miles of pipeline to spread the water out over the ranch, making it excellent for cattle and hunting operations.

The headquarters of the ranch is a very well-built adobe brick ranch home that has been renovated over the years. Also attached to the house is an apartment to help sleep family and guests. Around the headquarters is a very nice 42’x50’ metal barn with tack room and workshop. Next to the barn is a large equipment shed, several outbuildings and one of the sets of steel working pens. Hunting on the ranch is considered to be good with plenty of pronghorn antelope, mule deer, aoudad sheep and blue quail.

The ranch is being offered with the state classified minerals, and some deeded minerals will convey with the sale of the ranch.

The new owner will enjoy the vast landscape ranging from 4,400 to 5,600 feet in elevation. Guadalupe Peak, the highest peak in Texas, can be seen at a distance from the ranch, and with the Cornudas Mountains in the backdrop, the ranch gives a whole new meaning to a West Texas night sky.
