Congratulations to Johnny Cavazos with The Texas Ranch Company, LLC, for his sale of the 1,330-acre High Top Ranch in Frio County, Texas. This sale occurred on March 22, 2017, and was submitted through the Lands of America Comparable Sales Program.
The well-managed South Texas ranch offers a diverse landscape covered with native brush and trees including persimmon, mesquite and hackberry. Game on the property numbers whitetail deer, bobwhite quail, mourning dove and wild hogs. High Top Ranch lies southwest of San Antonio in an agricultural area colloquially known as the Winter Garden Region for its year-round production of vegetables.
For the week ending March 19, 2017, there were 323 properties listed as sold in the Lands of America Comparable Sales program, representing a total of $80 million in sales value and almost 17,000 acres. This 320-acre Nebraska farm was the most expensive and largest property sold during the period.
