Congratulations to Tamara Nordmeyer with United Country/Cowboy Country Realty for her sale this week of 2,477-acre Rose Creek Ranch in Humboldt County, Nevada. The January 28 sale was the largest land sale based on data submitted through the Lands of America Comparable Sales program over the past seven days.
Located in the heart of northern Nevada’s “Cowboy Country,” Rose Creek Ranch is a unique farm/ranch investment opportunity just west of Winnemucca. The location offers convenient Interstate 80 and railroad access for future commercial potential. The ranch’s serene mountain pastures comprise the Dun Glen Mountain area, offering various hunting and other recreational pursuits.
The “Cowboy Country” region is where the Old West meets the high desert. The Humboldt County seat of Winnemuca is gateway to the Black Rock Desert and covers an expansive swath of land that’s a mix of mining communities, ranching and farming operations and outdoor-recreation areas open to ATVing, hiking, mountain biking and hunting (popular species to hunt here include chukar, antelope and quail).
The Lands of America Comparable Sales program is available to participating platinum and basic sellers through the Land.com Network’s Property Control Center. Click here for more information about participating in the Comparable Sales program.
