Congratulations to Ken and Samantha Burton of Texas Home-Land Realty for their sale of a 10,240-acre hunting ranch in Pecos County, Texas. This sale occurred on August 26, 2017, and was submitted through the Lands of America Comparable Sales program.
Sold for just over $488 per acre, the ranch lies south of Fort Stockton amidst a rugged landscape that’s home to a number of historic cattle-ranching operations and herds of free-ranging mule deer, elk and javelina. Bird life in the area includes blue quail, dove, raptors and a number of migratory bird species. The ranch itself includes a modest headquarters with a two-bedroom, one-bath cabin, cattle pens and two water wells.
