Owned by the same family for a number of years, the ranch offers diverse terrain that varies from rolling live oak-covered hills to level divide country to sloping and level mesquite and cedar country. Elevations on the ranch range from approximately 2,350 to 2,530 feet above sea level. Dry Dove Creek Draw traverses the property from north to south and there are several other drainages on the ranch. The east portion of the ranch consists of beautiful live oak- and shin oak-covered hills before it tops out on the level divide country with a solid turf of tabosa and buffalo grass. The ranch has been lightly grazed over the years. Exterior fences are in good condition and there is approximately three miles of high-fence game fencing.

Sitting on the western edge of the Edwards Plateau, Schleicher County is one of 25 counties that form the state’s distinctive Hill Country region. Large recreational as well as cattle ranches are a predominant feature of the landscape, as are bluebonnet-filled pastures each spring and swimming holes dotted throughout the karst limestone bedrock that fill with summer bathers and tubers.
