A combined almost 100,000 acres were listed for sale in Oklahoma's Cimarron County recently; the value of all Cimarron County ranches, farms, hunting land and other rural land and acreage for sale was nearly $38 million. Cimarron County ranks 75th in the Sooner State for the total number of acres of land currently advertised for sale. Griggs had the most land for sale. Agriculture and farming drives the Cimarron County economy, with 554 farms recorded in the county during the U.S. Census in 2012. Farming activities in Cimarron County generate annual revenues of $7 million, the majority of which comes from livestock products. Cimarron County is one of the ten biggest counties in Oklahoma (1,840 square miles). It's located in the Red Carpet Country Oklahoma region of the state.
