Fillmore County offers a mix of small country towns and wide-open fields of corn, hay and other agricultural staples. The county seat of Geneva features a number of notable 19th-century homes and buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Along with two public fishing spots at the Bruning Dam recreation areaand Lone Star Lake, Fillmore County features five wildlife management areas that allows for the hunting of dove, pheasant, rabbit and waterfowl. Of all locations in Fillmore County with farms, ranches, hunting land and other land for sale, Geneva featured the most land for sale.
