Hall County, Texas Rural Land For Sale

The Texas Panhandle gets its name for its proximity to the handle-shaped portion of its neighbor, Oklahoma. It is the state's least populated region. A combined almost 100,000 acres were listed for sale in Hall County recently; the value of all Hall County farms and ranches for sale was nearly $48 million. Hall County ranks 196th in Texas for the total number of acres of land currently advertised for sale. There were seven properties listed as sold in Hall County through the Land Network Comparable Sales Program. This represented a total value of $815,000. Memphis had the most land for sale. Agriculture and farming drives the Hall County economy, with 390 farms recorded in the county during the U.S. Census in 2012. Farming activities in Hall County generate annual revenues of $8 million, most of which is from crops. Hall County is Texas's 153rd biggest county (904 square miles). It's located in the Rolling Plains North Texas region of Texas.
