This area is a mostly rural region with highlights including 1,100-acre David Crockett State Park. Lawrence County is centered around the county seat of Lawrenceburg, once home to one of the largest bicycle manufacturers in the world, the since-bankrupt Murray Ohio Manufacturing Company. North of Lawrenceburg, Etheridge is the site of a long-standing Amish community.
