A total of nearly 2,000 acres were listed for sale in Kentucky's Powell County recently; the overall value of all Powell County farms, ranches, hunting land and other land for sale was nearly $43 million. Powell County ranks 24th out of 120 counties in Kentucky for the total acreage of land currently advertised for sale. Stanton had the most land for sale. Powell County is Kentucky's 112th largest county (180 square miles). It's located in the Eastern Kentucky region of the state.
