North of the growing metro enclave of Chattanooga, Tennessee, the Sequatchie Valley was once the home to since-shuttered coal mines and foundries. It's also home to the popular Coke Ovens Bluegrass Festival, which celebrates the area's music and heritage. Sequatchie County ranks 26th out of 95 counties in the Volunteer State for the total acreage of land currently advertised for sale. Dunlap featured the most land for sale. Sequatchie County is Tennessee's 81st biggest county (266 square miles). It's located in the East Central Tennessee region of Tennessee.
