A total of around 5,000 acres were listed for sale in Windsor County recently, representing a combined nearly $191 million in Windsor County farms, hunting land and other rural land and acreage for sale. Windsor County ranks second based on the combined acreage of land for sale among all the counties in the Green Mountain State. Ludlow had the most land for sale. Based on its natural assets, tourism and recreation contribute significant revenue toward Windsor County's overall GDP. Windsor County is the largest county in Vermont (977 square miles).
