We drove into this well-planned lake community on Ponderosa Loop and listened to the unique sound of the wind through the needles. Both lakes are multispecies fisheries, and Campbell is best known for Smallmouth Bass, Bluegill, and Perch fishing. The maximum lake depth is approximately 13 feet, and the bottom substrates are pebble, gravel, and sand. Beneficial rooted aquatic plants such as Pencil Reeds, Pondweed, Coontail, and Cattails provide habitat for fish. Similar to Enemy Swim Lake, Campbell has several points, bars, and varied bottom topography enhancing structures in the lake. There are no public boat launches on Campbell, so traffic on the lake is minimal and mostly restricted to property owner use.
