1100 W. Highway 11, Imperial, TX 79743 - Pecos County

This is an inland salt water shrimp or fish farm. The farms has 16 ponds with a total coverage of 32 acres under water. Eight ponds are 2.5 acres of water each. The remaining 8 ponds vary in size from 1 acre to near 2 acres of water. All ponds and wells are connected in a close-looped, underground system. There are 5 wells integrated into the Water System. These wells are located around the perimeters of the ponds. Depths of wells vary but average 150-160 feet deep. The building complex consists of 5 metal buildings. Four buildings are of greenhouse design for use as nurseries. They are 154'x35' each. An office with an exterior entrance and concrete floor is part of this building. Feed bins are elevated for truck loading and permit truckload deliveries to the farm. There is a mobile home pad with hook-ups on site. Disposal of pond water does not need to be permitted by State of Texas as an area for onsite disposal is available and permitted.
