Furman, AL 36741 - Wilcox County

The subject property is a timber producing tract which also has great hunting. The property is located about 5 miles northeast of Camden, the county seat of Wilcox County. The pine timber has been recently thinned, but a very good stand of pine and hardwood timber remains. As noted in the attached plat map, County Road 49 bisects the tract into east and west parcels. There is a very good internal road system with access controlled by locked cables at the three entrance sites. The east side consists of primarily hardwood timber, whereas the west side is mostly comprised of loblolly pine. There are several game plots located throughout the property. The topography is rolling to moderately steep as noted in the topographic map. The 2009 aerial photograph illustrates the tract features, including a kudzu patch located on the north side. This kudzu infestation is primarily confined to the old gravel pit area. Typical photographs of the property are presented in Figures 5, 6, and 7.
