Location: The ranch is located approximately six miles east of Dickens.

Terrain: The Croton Creek Ranch has a very desirable blend of nearly level to sloping terrain, coupled with an almost perfect cover for quail hunting. Mesquite is the primary cover, with scattered hackberry and a few cedar are found all through the property. Through the creek bottoms wild plums are common.
