This outstanding 140 +/- acres is located 1 mile north of Carrier on SH 132, then 1 mile east. According to the Garfield County F.S.A. there are approx. 139.1 acres of cropland (of which 65 acres is currently in Alfalfa) with a 139 acre wheat base, and 40 bushels per acre yield. The principle soil type of the land is mostly Pond Creek silt loam, Class I; with a small amount of Pond Creek silt loam, Class II along the east side. This highly productive farm has an excellent location, lays level, is easily tilled, and is in an area in which several nearby quarters are irrigated, and some have been developed for housing. In addition, there are approx. 2 acres of moderate to heavy timber in the northeast corner of the farm. It is definitely one of the better farms in Garfield County. Be sure to take a look!
