BP Broiler Farm is a two-house broiler operation located in Jackson County, Alabama, near the town of Section. The farm features two 40x500 poultry houses that were built in 2001. It currently grows for Tyson Foods, raising a 7-pound bird on a 49 to 52-day grow-out cycle. In 2020, the farm grossed approximately $109,000. Recent upgrades have been made to improve the operation.

The houses are equipped with Choretime C2Plus feed lines with Turbo Grow pans, Val water lines, a Choretronics controller, and tube heat. An incinerator was installed in 2019 for mortality management, and the alarm system was updated in 2022. The farm also includes bifold front doors, solid interior and exterior walls, a litter shed, and operates on city water.

The property includes approximately 15 acres. While there is currently no home on the farm, there is a suitable location for a dwelling to be added by a future owner.

This is a biosecure facility. No visitors are allowed on-site without a PoultrySouth Team member present. All visitors must provide proof of at least $60,000 in cash or equity toward a down payment. A PoultrySouth Team member can assist with the required prequalification process.
