DESCRIPTION: This 158± acre tract is located between the communities of Siletz and Logsden and is southeast of the Siletz River, overlooking the Long Tom Creek drainage, along a ridge top, with moderate to steep south and north facing slopes. There is an estimated 1,328 MBF of primarily 40± year-old Douglas fir, western hemlock, and red alder with some cedar on 86± acres. (See Supplemental Information Package for timber inventory.) The balance of the tract is 4 year old well-stocked Douglas fir with 25% red alder. Swiss needle cast has impacted some growth in the merchantable stands. The tract has a Douglas fir site index of 125, or a site class II.

There is physical access from Hamer Road to the northeast portion of the property, and to the northeast corner from Sam's Creek Road. A tributary of Long Tom Creek crosses the property in the northeast.
