Sally Solum grew up in Sioux Falls. Her education after high school was at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She also attended South Dakota State University in Brookings and earned a Masters degree in Vocational Teacher Education. Sally taught at Lake Area Technical Institute in the Financial Services program, specializing in accounting and income taxes. She was the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance coordinator at LATI for 20 years. Sally now lives in the Tea area and joined EXIT Sioux Empire in November 2014.
