This farm, 160 acres, more or less, consists of approximately 115 acres cropland, about 10 acres timber and old farmstead in the northeast corner, with the rest, about 34 acres, being waterways and grassland. The cropland is a mix of Crete, Benfield and Mayberry gently and moderately sloping soils. The conservation practices have been in place for many years. About 20 acres are in soybeans. The rest of the cropland is in sorghum sudangrass, which will be hayed this fall.
The FSA bases and yields are 48.2 acres wheat, 34 bushels; 46.4 acres milo, 56 bushels; 17.8 acres soybeans, 20 bushels. The 2013 taxes were $1,192.23.
Terms: Ten (10) percent down, the balance due in 30 days. Possession will be at closing, subject to the tenants rights.
