Approximately 200 acres of mountain hardwoods that are about fifteen to twenty years old. Young growing stands of yellow poplar, mixed oak, red maple, hickory, some Virginia and Pitch pine, hemlock and other hardwoods. The hollows and north facing slopes support good stands of young yellow poplar with some oak and maple. There are scattered larger sawtimber sized poplar, oak and hemlock in the hollows that were not harvested.
