Incredible Hunting Farm

One of the finest whitetail hunting farms, in the number one county in Missouri for Pope & Young registered deer, has hit the market. Welcome to “The Zoo”. This game-rich 237 acres is truly a must-see property. The hunting and fishing on this farm is simply as good as it gets. This property has a very unique configuration. It's essentially three 80's stacked vertically north and south. Because of this, there will be some seasoned aerial map jockeys that will underestimate the viability of a layout like this. That oversight would be a big mistake.

This is a farm you have to see in person and put boot leather on the ground to truly appreciate what it offers and how the deer utilize it. There is over a mile and a half of beautiful rolling terrain that presents exceptional diversity. The timbered draws and creeks that traverse the farm provide natural travel corridors for the area deer. The north end of the farm provides the only direct road access to the land. Here, there is a perfect mix of open ground (currently being hayed) and hardwood timber and it's the location where a 14 year old young lady killed a 186! This area could easily but put into row crop production to increase income potential and raise the nutritional plane of the farm. There is an incredible building site here that would provide breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

Utilities such as rural water, electric, and newly laid fiber internet at the road make this building site even more attractive. If you are looking for an exceptionally remote location to get away from the crowd, then this is your place. The overwhelming majority of this farm cannot be seen or accessed from any road. There is, however, an easement in place near the south end of the farm to provide convenient access.

The quality and quantity of deer & turkey is simply outstanding. We saw 6 different harvested bucks with multiple beams. The gene pool here produces a high number of non-typical racks and several Boone & Crockett bucks have been harvested in the past. There are two ponds that are fully stocked to provide great fishing. Catfish, Bluegill, Bass, Bullhead, and Crappie are growing to great proportions in these waters. I have never seen a legitimate 18” Crappie until this farm! There is crop production on the neighboring farms to the west and south. The southern hardwood timbered ridges will give way to some of the prettiest bottom ground production fields you will find. A remote location, high-quality deer & turkey hunting, and year-round recreational opportunities make this place very special. Call Andy Anderson at (660) 240-3239 to schedule your private showing.
