Both houses have just undergone a complete renovation with more upgrades than can be mentioned. The flooring is old pine throughout the living areas and granite and marble in the wet areas. All bathrooms have been completely renovated as well as the Kitchen.

The area has many outdoor activities which include fishing on Toledo Bend

Reservoir, one of the most famous fishing lakes in the country, fishing in the private two acre pond on the property, and hunting in Sabine National Forest which surrounds this 25 acre estate.

Due to Sabine National Forest being your adjoining neighbor on almost all three sides, your one and only neighbor is Fin and Feathers Resort. Fin and Feathers was the hottest resort on the lake in the 1970’s and fell on hard times during the 1980’s. The new owners completed a first class renovation on the entire facility in 2008. Today the facility boasts a very nice restaurant, pool and spa, convention center, bait shop, general store and a multitude of cabins and hotel rooms.

Although you can’t see Fin and Feathers from the main house, it’s a wonderful convenience to know it’s just a 50 yard boat ride across an inlet of the lake, or a two minute car ride. This facility will also make an excellent spillover for bedrooms when you have those big overnight gatherings.
