The Knight ranch consists of 4 parcels that add up to 261 acres. This is a recreational property right in the middle of a recreational wonderland. To the North is Stony Gorge reservoir, to the west is the Mendocino National forest, to the south is East park reservoir, to the east is Stony creek. The ranch has wild boar, deer, turkey, quail, dove, and of course all kinds of predators. Although the owner has not seen any Elk on the property, Tule Elk are widespread in the area and are really making a comeback. Last year, an 8x8 Tule Elk Bull was taken just 10 miles from the ranch. The East Park reservoir has a draw each year for a muzzle load hunt. The ranch is surrounded by large private ranches. The historic Salt Spring valley is just a mile away. The ranch has a seasonal creek that has pools late into the summer that draw in the game. There are many interesting rock formations for the rock enthusiast and flat to steep topography. This is a ranch for the hunter that wants a place close to the Bay Area, but once they are on their property they feel like they are thousand of miles away.
