DESCRIPTION: This combination agriculture and recreational property is located east of Porum and provides excellent home locations overlooking the North Canadian River. The productive fine sandy loam soils generate excellent introduced forage production. The property has been utilized as a cow/calf operation and owner rated at 65 pairs year-round. Themosaic mix of upland and bottom land timber provides excellent wildlife habitat and travel corridors along the draws.

LOCATION: The property is located 4.5 miles east of Porum.

SOILS/ GRAZING INFORMATION: The property is primarily composed of Kamie fine sandy loam and Verdigris silt loam soils which are ideally suited to introduced forage production. The current forage base is predominantly improved Bermuda grass, ryegrass and arrow leaf and ladino clovers. Much of the property is suitable for overseeding cool season forages to maximize forage production. Theproperty is currently fenced into 3 pastures and includes a set of steel catch pens.
