This farm is generally the W 36-5-1 lying north of the old Missouri Pacific railroad right of way, Clifton Township, Washington County, Kansas.
This farm, 275 acres, more or less, consists of approximately 250 acres cropland, with over one-half being bottom land and the rest of the cropland being gently sloping to moderately sloping upland. The bottom land is nearly all Class I Muir soils. The upland is a mix of Crete and Longford soils. The rest of the farm is waterways, timber, and a branch of Parsons Creek, which runs along the east property line. There are no growing crops.
The estimated bases and yields are 60 acres wheat, 34 bushels; 95 acres corn, 86 bushels; 29 acres milo, 64 bushels; 42 acres soybeans, 16 bushels. The 2015 taxes are $3,700. This farm lies just east of Clifton on the east side of Eagle Road.
