The Tates Bluff and Walters Field Road tracts will be offered by lump sum sealed bid on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Bids may be submitted for either or both tracts.

The Tates Bluff Tract (Listing #4637) is 590.97 acres in Clark County, Arkansas with frontage on both the Ouachita and Little Missouri Rivers. Tract is located about sixteen (16) miles southeast of Gurdon (complete legal description on back of Offer Form; see attached maps). Access is one-half-mile of county road frontage on Walters Field / East Whelen Road, with gated interior woods roads. Over one (1) mile of Little Missouri River frontage plus nearly one (1) mile of Ouachita River frontage. A hunting cabin is included with the sale (contents of cabin are not included). Merchantable timber includes bottomland hardwood and 1990 pine plantation. Kingwood Forestry conducted an inventory of merchantable timber on Stand 1 and Stand 2 (one plot / 2 acres) in June, 2018. Based on this inventory, estimated tree counts and volumes are listed below. Ocular estimate on Stand 4 (84 acres) indicates approximately 500 tons of hardwood logs and pulpwood, with approximately 2,000 tons of hardwood in Stand 3 (13 acres of Cypress / Tupelo) north of county road (see maps). Approximately 25 acres of Stand 5 were planted with pine seedlings in 2016. This property offers excellent hunting opportunities.

The Walters Field Road Tract (Listing #4638) is 30 acres located about fifteen (15) miles southeast of Gurdon near the Kansas community and is described as E of SW of NW, SW of NE of NW, Section 27, Township 10 South, Range 18 West, containing a total of 30 acres, more or less, Clark County, Arkansas (see attached maps). Access is frontage on Walters Field Road bisecting tract. Tract contains well-stocked loblolly pine plantation established in 2012.

Bids will be opened at the Kingwood Forestry office at #4 Executive Circle, Arkadelphia, Arkansas at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 24, 2018.
