Comanche Ranch that was once a part of the legendary Lightning C Ranch owned by Everett Colborn, and was home to the livestock participating in the World's Championship Rodeo hosted in Dublin. The livestock were herded and there was a trail ride to town every year where the biggest rodeo event in Texas was held. Dublin area citizens all came, and school was out for this annual big event. Gene Autry was a partner, and present personality with Mr. Colborn in the rodeo. Following the big event the livestock and competitors took a train the famous Madison Square Garden Rodeo!
