Strawberry Willow Creek Mtn Ranch

Incredible mountain ranch with commanding views overlooking Soldier Creek Reservoir, Willow Creek, and Strawberry Reservoir. Rocky Mountain elk, mule deer, and Shiras moose are the hallmark species of this expansive alpine property in northeast Utah.

The ranch encompasses approximately 3,055 deeded acres of deep pine and aspen forest with dramatic elevation changes and extensive canyon systems. Willow Creek winds through the canyon bottom before continuing toward the adjacent Ashley National Forest, enhancing both wildlife habitat and scenic value. Located approximately 45 minutes to one hour from Heber City, Park City, Sundance, and Deer Valley, the property offers convenient access to Utah’s premier recreation and ski destinations while maintaining a remote, private setting.

The ranch is an active participant in the Utah Cooperative Wildlife Management Unit (CWMU) Program for elk and mule deer and supports hunting opportunities for Shiras moose, Rocky Mountain elk, mule deer, black bear, mountain lion, and additional species. Strawberry Reservoir provides year-round recreational access, including fishing, boating, camping, hiking, ice fishing, and snowmobiling, making the ranch a true four-season property.

There are multiple potential homesites throughout the ranch offering commanding reservoir and canyon views, subject to county approval.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a high-elevation mountain ranch of this quality, size, and recreational diversity.

Cabins

The ranch includes two established off-grid hunting cabins, strategically located for seasonal hunting and ranch operations.

Main Hunting CabinApproximately 1,100 square feet, equipped with two wood-burning stoves, propane service, and a 500-gallon propane tank. The cabin provides sleeping accommodations, a basic cooking area, and wood/propane heat suitable for extended hunting stays. Seasonal water is supplied from nearby springs, and multiple outhouses serve the cabin area. Historically used as a seasonal hunting and ranch-use cabin.

Secondary Hunting CabinA more primitive off-grid cabin used as a satellite camp during hunting season. Includes basic shelter, a wood-burning stove, and sleeping accommodations for short-term stays.

Both cabins are seasonal-use hunting cabins consistent with large Western ranches and provide functional base camps while preserving the property’s unspoiled alpine character.
