Description: This ranch makes a perfect hunting base camp to hunt Units 12 and 13 out of, and has been rented to outfitters and vacationers. It is advertised as a Vacation Rental by Owner. The ranch has applied for elk permits and should qualify for two.

The ranch features gorgeous views from several of its locations onto the Sawtooth and Datil Mountain Ranges which are only around 4 miles to its southeast. Maybe half of the rolling hills are wooded with pine, pinion and cedar, the remainder is well covered with predominantly black gramma. Cattle was taken off the ranch in 1994 and only up to 4 horses have been grazing the ranch since then.

Improvements: There are a total of 3 homes one the ranch

1. The “Lodge” which is a rebuilt double-wide trailer home (completed in 2006) with 3br, 1 ba, wrap-around porch on all sides, attached saddle & tack room

2. A custom 1br/1ba 864 sf Log Home (7 ½ inch D-shaped logs) with loft for 8 people – completed in 1997

3. The original Homestead House, moved near the new Log Home and renovated with 2 bedrooms which sleep 4. The Homestead’s restroom is a new wooden outhouse.
