There are 3,743.56 taxable acres and 3,489 FSA cropland acres. The farm is over 98% irrigated, 78% of which is precision leveled, 20% are flood/furrow irrigated and 2% are non irrigated. There are 19 irrigation wells and 10 re-lifts from Waterloo Bayou and Long Ditch along with many risers and underground pipe. The road systems are good and provide excellent access throughout the farm.

Soils

The soils are 96.6% Class III Desha clay, Perry Clay, and Portland Clay. The remained are Class 4 Perry clay Class 2 Rilla and McGhee and class 1 Roxana silt loam. These soils are suitable for and have a history of growing rice and soybeans.
