Hays Road East tract (#4063) will be sold by lump sum sealed bid on Friday, August 28, 2009, at 3:00pm. Tract is located 7 miles west of Gurdon and 3 miles south of Okolona. Access is 0.16 mile Hays Road frontage. The tract contains a hardwood-pine stand that was last thinned in 2000. Timber volume estimates provided by previous owner suggest the tract contains approximately 400 tons of Hardwood Sawtimber, 900 tons of Hardwood Pulpwood and 30 tons of Pine Pulpwood. Terrain is rolling. Soils consist of fine sandy loams with site index for loblolly pine averaging 80 feet on fifty year base. Electricity and water available.
