Bitter Root is made up of 386 acres of woodlands that range from mature hardwood/pine stands to 3 to 4-year old planted longleaf pine. The property has at least 4 creeks that run through it as well as a 1 to 2-acre pond. It has been the personal hunting land of a wildlife biologist for the last decade and the tract is set up as a deer and turkey hunters dream with food plots and turkey browse areas already laid out. As you enter the gate to the property there is a 2500+ square foot lodge that has all of the comforts of home and can accommodate as many as 12 to 15 people. Also at the lodge is a storage building for 4-wheelers and equipment as well as an unfinished walk-in deer cooler. The tract is an easy 45 minutes from Tallahassee, FL, or Bainbridge, GA, which makes it easy to hunt those early morning gobblers and still have time to get back to the office.
