The Macho Creek Ranch includes the original headquarters of the Cadena Ranch. The habitat on this ranch is outstanding due to sandy soil and three creeks that cross the ranch. The quail and deer hunting is excellent. The Macho Creek Ranch has been improved with a lot of brush work creating quail strips. The current owner built roads down the center of the quail strips to enhance the quail hunting experience. The deer hunting has been managed for about 10 years under the MLDP Conservation Option.
