Canyon Falls

This 45 acres tract is one of eight tracts making up our 650 acre Rockdale property. Canyon Falls has two different personalities. As you journey through the property, especially on the plateau, you begin to realize just how majestic our natural world shines. The entrance to this property is highlighted by tall pines and a cleared pasture area screaming to tell its secret when you adventure onto the small winding road.

Then, with the blink of the eye, you can wind down to the base floor. As you descend into the hardwoods, nature invites you to see a different world unfold. Two small spring branches converge from different valleys into a steep canyon area creating cascading water falls. Decaying logs, bluff ledges, dripping water on the sides of each shelf are home and nourishment for the many ferns, water plants, and small animals. This small canyon is an eco-wonderland that few of us ever have the opportunity to experience.

Rockdale Trace and this tract are located 55 miles south of Nashville in Lewis County, TN. Just off US Hwy 43 and near the confluence of the Lawrence, Lewis, and Maury County lines. Columbia and Lawrenceburg are full service cities with the communities of Summertown and Mt. Pleasant providing basic necessities for the residences of this area.
