WILDLIFE

Several species of wildlife live within the borders of the Chama River Paradise. Mule deer and elk are common to the area and viewed often. Many smaller species of wildlife call the Chama River Paradise home. Turkey are common as are many other species of birds. However, as discussed above, the big attraction to the Chama River Paradise is the Chama River and trout fishing.
