Tract #313 East will be sold by lump sum sealed bid on Friday, September 5, 2008, at 3:00pm. All three tracts of land are located west of Leola, between Highways 9 and 46, southwest of Cox Creek Lake. Topography of the subjects is gently rolling to rolling. Soils consist mostly of Sacul and Smithton fine sandy loams with site indices of approximately 80 feet on 50 year base. Access is via woods roads off Highways 9 and 46, Lemons Trail off Highway 9 and Copeland Loop off Highway 46. Boundary lines were painted (red) in May of 2004.

Contains a total of 60 acres, more or less. The East 60-acre tract has access via woods road off Highway 46. Approximately 48 acres was chemically site prepared and planted with 2nd generation loblolly pine seedlings in March, 2006 followed by herbaceous weed control. Stand is now well stocked. Approximately 12 acres consist of mature hardwood area and SMZ (streamside management zone).
