The Grissom-Maroa North Farm is located on the south edge of Maroa in the central part of Maroa Township, in northern Macon County. This farm has 63.97 tillable acres making it 100% tillable with an overall soil productivity index rating of 141.0. The soils consist of Sable and Ipava soil types. The farm is level to undulating with good drainage.

This farm is located on State Route 51 along the western border with good road access along the southern border as well. This farm is well located with several option available for grain delivery, including directly to ADM 10 miles to the south. It is improved with 2 24,000-bushel grain bins that are in good condition.

The Grissom-Maroa North Farm has entered into a solar lease option agreement with Nexamp Solar, LLC and is currently in the development phase. This agreement, if executed, would pay an annual operating payment of $1,000 per acre (indexed annually at CPI) for all acres taken out of crop production. A copy of the lease agreement will be provided for review if requested.
