Aldrich Mountain 640

This property is composed of 640 acres located on top of Aldrich Mountain. It is accessed off of Hiway 26 going south on Fields Creek Road. At the top of the mountain you go right until you hit the private property which is a few miles. You can see the private areas because of the signs. Other private property is about 5 miles away through federal lands. A USFS road goes through part of the property at the very top. It has both south and north faces. The south face gives you views all the way to the town of Seneca. North faces show Fields Peak and all the way down to the John Day River. Tennessee Creek starts on the land and goes south through USFS. There are ponds, seeps, and many springs all through the property. Elk, deer, bear, and many other predators abound on this deeded ground. Many have been harvested on this land. You can also hunt all of the forest service around you here. LOPs are available for this area. This is in the heart of the Murderers Creek Unit and is known all over for its deer and elk hunting.

A very modern new log cabin has been built overlooking Fields Peak. It is a turnkey operation for the operation of the cabin. All you have to do when you open up the cabin to hunt or visit is flip a switch and it is ready to go with water and other conveniences. It is about 1200 sq.ft. There is a washer and dryer as well as all of the modern household conveniences. A deck runs around the cabin and is a really neat component. It is propane driven with kitchen, bathroom, and living accommodations fueled by propane. There is a generator also when it is needed for the well. Both are housed along with a pressure tank for the well in a neat, clean protected shed. The well is 25 gallons a minute. The cabin views are absolutely spectacular!! It is a great place to just relax or have a hunting crew with modern amenities and super hunting.
