Helix Farm, Helix, OR 97835 - Umatilla County

Located adjacent to the city limits of Helix, Oregon, and the northeastern corner of Umatilla County, this farm consists of 658 +/- acres of high yielding production land. An additional 30.23 acres is enrolled in CREP through the Farm Service Agency. The area is known for high quality soil and sufficient annual rainfall to produce some the regions highest yielding dryland wheat crops. Throughout the year, the temperature varies between a low of 27 degrees and high of 92 degrees with an average precipitation of 15 inches and a snowfall of 13 inches. The primary soil type is Ritzville Loam with mostly flat terrain.
