Once part of the legendary Matador Ranch, the Walker Canyon Ranch is now being offered for sale. LOCATION

WILDLIFE

Wildlife includes Trophy Whitetail deer, Mule deer, Quail, Ducks and Geese, Turkey, Doves, Wild Hogs.

An area state biologist says, This is the region where both large populations of mule deer and whitetail can be found.

Quail Haven. With good bird dogs, you can find 20 coveys of Bob Whites per day! There is a 30 acre food plot planted in wheat, five corn slingers, one deer blinds, two duck blinds, a fishing dock.

WATER

The ranch has an abundance of water. The lake and six wells located throughout the ranch provide the primary source of water. Wells are 140-270 feet deep. There are also several surface ponds.

Seasonal creeks run across the ranch and a solar pump on the lake plus two storage tanks provide additional water in the pipelines. New galvanized and fiberglass troughs hold water for livestock and wildlife.

HOUSING

There is a two-bedroom hunters cabin, which has electricity and running water and sleeps six, located on the west side of the property.
