The Whelen North Tract (Listing #5027) will be offered by lump sum sealed bid on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.

Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc. has been authorized to manage the sale of the Whelen North Tract (Listing #5027) described as Part of E of NW, Part of W of NE, Section 35, Township 10 South, Range 20 West, containing a total of 81.03 parcel card acres (72.9 GIS acres), more or less, Clark County, Arkansas (see maps).

The tract is located less than one (1) mile east of Whelen Springs. Access is paved East Whelen Road and gravel Elia Lane. Timber consists of 63 acres of merchantable native pine on flat terrain. Residual acreage in powerline and road right-of-way. Pine site index averages eighty-one (81) feet (base age 50) on fine sandy and silt loam soils.

Tract offers excellent deer hunting possibilities plus immediate timber income potential.

Kingwood Forestry conducted an inventory of native pine with four (4) cruise lines running north and south in March, 2023. Based on the inventory, estimated tree counts and timber volumes are as follows:

Pine Sawtimber: 3,037 Tons

Pine CNS: 772 Tons

Pine Pulpwood: 4,071 Tons

Pine Topwood: 1,021 Tons

Hardwood Pulpwood: 223 Tons
