The Salt Sage Coulee Ranch has been owned and operated by the Goffena family for over 80 years. This productive and well-managed grass ranch includes 10,240 acres of which approximately 8,426 are deeded, 1,000 acres of BLM lease, and 800 acres of state lease. The ranch is predominantly native range. The ranch includes several old homesteads and the original townsite of Kelley, Montana, of which part of the grain elevator remains. The ranch is home to mule deer, antelope, and seasonal elk, as well as sharptails, Hungarian partridge, and sage grouse.
