Waterfowl and Deer hunting in Pemiscot County, Missouri - 85 acres +/- just outside of Hayti, Missouri adjoining Black Island Conservation Area and 1/2 mile off the Mississippi River. The North 40 has been enrolled in the Wetland Reserve Program and provides migratory waterfowl habitat and hunting opportunity. Native hardwoods have been planted for sustained food. The remainder of the land is not encumbered by an easement and can continue to provide crop revenue or be managed for more wildlife habitat. Gayoso Bend Conservation Area encompasses 968 acres of forestland, including 125 acres of wooded sloughs. The Mississippi River provides two miles of river frontage on the east side. The Stephen C. Bradford Unit of Black Island Conservation Area is enrolled in WRP and consists of a recent abandoned river channel of the Mississippi River. Two wetland pools were created, and will be managed for waterfowl. Waterfowl hunting is all about location, and this land is in the heart of the action
