Born and raised in rural Marion County, Iowa, Chris Dunkin feels that south-central Iowa is one of the best places to live in the entire country.Great people, great hunting, and core values are why hes never going to leave. Now, Chris resides on his own Southern Iowa dream farm with his wife and fellow Premier agent, Alexandria Dunkin, and their two daughters. Being born and raised here, Chris has strong connections to landowners and an in-depth understanding of neighborhoods that big whitetails call home.After graduating from Knoxville Community High School, Chris attended Iowa State University and received a bachelors degree in Natural Resource Ecology Management. Growing up loving not only the land, but conservation practices and hunting, Chris felt that this was the appropriate path for a degree and a career. After graduating from Iowa State, Chris worked as a law enforcement officer from 2009 to 2015, and was also the Director of Clarke County Conservation where he was fortunate to work with fellow landowners, biologist, wildlife, and land on a daily basis. In his free time Chris enjoys working on his land to make it better for wildlife and future generations, spending time with his family, and hunting everything from mushrooms to mature whitetails. He believes there is nothing better than standing on your own land and watching hard work pay off as the land becomes better than it was before.Chris is also the Vice President of the Iowa Sportsmans Club, a non-profit which he helped start that focuses on keeping the hunting great in Iowa by combatting bad legislation, improving habitat through assisting in conservation projects, and introducing youth to the outdoors. Chris prides himself in hard work and integrity as well as a knowledge of all aspects of land in Southern Iowa. With good communication skills and a strong network, Chris is here to serve you.
