DESCRIPTION: This 918± acre property consists of two tracts of 622± and 296± acres. It is located 25 miles southeast of Cottage Grove, along the northeast-facing slopes of the Calapooya Divide, within the Umpqua National Forest. The two tracts contain an estimated 9,452 MBF of primarily 35± to 44± year old Douglas fir, with some whitewoods. (See Supplemental Information Package for detail summary.)

Tract A is a full section and is located along the east and west slopes of the Quartz Creek drainage with access from USFS Road #23 to the southwest boundary. An estimated 7,954 MBF is located on Tract A, with 1,492± MBF on Tract B, which has access from BLM Pass Creek Road (25-1-31 Road) to the western boundary. Pass Creek crosses the southwest and northwest corners. The slopes on both tracts are medium to steep, with developed logging roads along the ridge tops. The Douglas fir site class is 95-114, or site index III.
