Truly one of the premier ranches in Central Texas and the Hill Country, Rocky Creek Ranch is five miles east of Highway 183 and fronts FM 963. The rolling topography has elevations from 833 to 1014 feet, with spectacular views from many locations. Much of the cedar has been cleared, leaving excellent oak and elm cover.

Rocky Creek is a clear, limestone bottom creek that meanders through the property. A concrete dam has been constructed and creates a fabulous swimming and fishing area. A seasonal creek also runs through the property. There are a couple of earthen dams built on the creek, one of which creates a lake nearly eight acres in size. A large pond stocked with catfish is built in a draw in the higher elevations of the ranch. Coastal Bermuda fields comprise 100 acres which can be irrigated from Rocky Creek.

A beautiful ten-year old split-level lodge (approximately 8,600 square feet) overlooks the swimming area. The exterior is cedar and has a covered porch that wraps the entire building. The main level has a huge living area/game room with a fireplace, a huge dining area with a fireplace, an office, and a commercial kitchen. The lower level has two spacious rooms with a total of 33 bunk beds. Each room has a walk-in closet and three sinks. There are two bathrooms, each of which has three sinks, toilets, and showers.

A recently remodeled log home with central air and heat is next to the lodge, overlooking the creek. The home has four bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace, and a covered back porch. A gazebo, a lighted tennis court, and a pavilion with restrooms, kitchen, and a covered porch with picnic tables are all just a short distance from the lodge. A skeet range is also nearby.

Other improvements include three more homes suitable for a foreman, groundskeepers, or staff. There are several barns (including a miniature horse barn), working pens, and a hot walker for horses.

Water on the ranch is supplied by five wells along with Miller Creek, a lake, and a large pond, as well as Rocky Creek and its concrete dam – all of which attract game on the ranch, including deer, turkey, dove, and quail.
