The Muleshoe Land and Cattle Ranch is located in the heart of cattle country, approximately 30 miles north of Torrington, Wy. The property consists of 4,304.26 deeded acres, including 420.14 acres irrigated by three center pivots. Under current management, the ranch has a carrying capacity of 300-350 head of cow/calf pairs, year-round by utilizing a high-intensity rotational grazing program that includes grazing two of the pivots after a first cutting is harvested. The third pivot has produced approximately 4.5-5 ton of alfalfa per acre with three cuttings per year. The property is fenced and crossed fenced into five separate pastures to further utilize the rotational grazing program. Water is provided to the livestock via an improved and reliable water system on the ranch with 19 stock tanks located along 4 miles of underground pipeline.
