Location: The Brown ranch is located 5 miles south of Lakeview, Orgeon on highway 395. It has the advantage of being out of town, yet close to town.

Size: 1188 total deeded acres which includes-

200 acres of pivot irrigated alfalfa and grass.

850 acres of meadow pasture.

40 acres of dry farm ground

98 acres of native pasture, roads, and ditches.

The ranch also has exclusive use of aproximately 250 acres of riparian lake grazing.

Water: The meadows receive water from Crane and Thomas Creeks. The pivots receive water from two wells. The wells have more capacity than required by the pivots so they are used for late season irrigation on the meadows.

Capacity: The ranch provides feed for 600 pair for 6 months plus puts up 900 tons of hay.

Wildlife: This ranch is close to the Warner Mountains for deer and elk hunting. Antelope, quail, and waterfowl are located on the ranch.
